Roasted Chickpeas

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups cooked chickpeas; also called garbanzo beans (canned or fresh)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Seasoning
Seasoning Options:

Savory

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Tangy

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • Juice of 2 lemons + zest
  • 2 tbsp dried rosemary
  • pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 300⁰F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Spread beans out over a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for about 60 minutes, stirring after 30 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool before serving or storing for later.
